THINGS TO CHECK IF THE BURNERS WON'T COME ON BUT FAN IS OKAY:

MOST LIKELY CAUSES:

  • Timer relays are in many units to turn the fan on in the heat mode and maybe even the cooling mode. So, if your burner doesn't come on it makes no difference to the timer. It brings the fan on anyway. All of the electronic module controlled units will be this way.

  • See the section The pilot is on but the burner won't light"

LESS LIKELY CAUSES:

  • Make sure the fan switch on the thermostat is not in the on position.
