This is the Honeywell Chronotherm III® thermostat model T8600 Series and here is the installation process right down to the
mounting screws.
- Figure 1: Notice the way the front part of the thermostat has a "hinge like movement" at the top.
- Figure 2: The two screws on the front behind the door will have to turn counterclockwise to loosen, clockwise to tighten.
- Figure 3: The front part will hinge upward and out to remove or reverse action to install.
- Note: If you look on the back side of the part you have in your hand, you will find the model number of the thermostat.
