Subject:   Reznor unit heaters  (sizes 30 and 45) shipped between August 2007 and January 2008

Potential Gas Leak-Fire or Explosion Hazard

Dear Customer:

Reznor has become aware of a potential gas leak in the gas inlet pipe in the above-listed units.  This pin-sized hole would be located in the first bend after the pipe enters the unit (see web link diagrams for location). 

Reznor asks that you carefully inspect any units in your inventory for this potential issue (a list of products shipped to you will be sent under separate cover).  Units manifesting this issue should be removed from inventory.  No units should be sold or shipped until they have undergone this inspection.

We also need your assistance to IMMEDIATELY contact all dealers, installers and customers who may have received suspect units and communicate this important safety information to them.
